- Course Title: 05 GD (P) Supplementary Course (SSC)
- Nationality Requirement: Male citizens of Pakistan
- Marital Status: Unmarried
- Age Limit: 21 to 23 years (as of 25 April 2025)
- Height Requirement: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm)
- Vision Requirement: 6/6 vision in each eye (without glasses)
- Rank Offered: Flying Officer
✰ Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications with a minimum of 1st division or 2.5 CGPA from a recognized university:
- BS in: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
- BS in Computer Science/IT/AI/Economics/Finance/Statistics/English or equivalent with FSc/ICS/A Level/IB (with Physics as a major subject).
- BE (All Disciplines) or equivalent degree.
- MBBS/BDS or equivalent degree.
✰ Training Period:
- Duration: 2 years
✰ Ineligibility Conditions:
A candidate is ineligible if they:
(a) Rejected by ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection boards.
(i) Twice Rejected by ISSB for Post Graduate Entry.
(ii) Twice Rejected by ISSB for intermediate / graduate (PMA / Graduate/Equivalent) and
once rejected by ISSB OR GHQ/NHQ/AHQ based selection boards.
(iii) Once Rejected by ISSB for intermediate / graduate (PMA/ Graduate/Equivalent) and
twice rejected by ISSB OR GHQ/NHQ/AHQ based selection boards.
(b) Twice Screened out by ISSB.
(c) Tested within four months (120 days) gap of previous appearance in ISSB except waiver granted by the competent authority. However, bar of 120 days will not be applicable to candidates appearing in GHQ/NHQ/AHQ selection boards.
(d) Dismissed / Removed / Debarred from Govt services including armed forces.
(e) Convicted in a court of law for any heinous offense (to be ascertained by the competent military authority.
(f) Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board (PUF by AMB).
(g) Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C (AMB cannot by requested)
(h) Withdraw from any bonded armed forces college/institution on disciplinary grounds.
(j) Withdrawn / Discharge / resigned or purchase release from any armed forces officers academy/ training institution on any ground.
(k) Tempering of academic certificates/forgery/concealment to get undue advantage will make an applicant permanently ineligible for all types of commission in Armed Forces.
(l) Gives incomplete, false or wrongful information.
(m) Thrice screened out by Army / Navy/ Air Force during preliminary selection.
✰ Selection Procedure:
Test Types
- Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test through e-Testing.
- Initial Medical Examination & Interview at Information & Selection Centre.
- Initial Physical Test (Qualification Criteria):
- Running: 1 Mile in 08 minutes
- Push-Ups: 15 in 02 minutes
- Sit-Ups: 20 in 02 minutes
- Chin-Ups: 03 in 02 minutes
✰ Only short listed candidates would go for ISSB exam.
✰ Test/Interview by ISSB Kohat / Gujranwala / Malir / Quetta.
✰ Final Medical Examination at CMB Lahore.
✰ Flying Aptitude Test (FAT) at I&SC Rawalpindi.
✰ Final Selection by Air Headquarters in order of merit.
